Daniel R. Gunnell

• Mr. Gunnell has seventeen years of experience in the oil and gas industry
primarily focused in Utah and Texas. 

• Mr. Gunnell has negotiated joint ventures and/or acquisitions/divestitures
with many industry leaders such as Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC), Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), Encana Corporation (NYSE:ECA), Talisman (NYSE:TLM), PetroCanada-Suncor (NYSE:SU), Patara Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE:SWN), Fidelity Exploration and Production Company (NYSE:MDU), Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:CWEI), Crescent Point Energy (NYSE:CPG), EP Energy (NYSE:EPE), Finley Resources, Petro-Hunt, LLC, Yates Petroleum, Armstrong Oil and Gas, H&L Operating, Laddex Ltd, and Dewbre Petroleum. 

• Mr. Gunnell founded Wasatch Energy Management, LLC and has operated over 100 oil and gas wells in Texas and Utah. 

• Mr. Gunnell is a graduate of Brigham Young University. While at BYU he also completed graduate level geology course work and participated in varsity athletics. Mr. Gunnell is involved in non-profit humanitarian work and serves as Chairman of the Board of Mentors International, which has lent $18MM in micro-loans to the poor in third world countries.

Kimball E. Hodges

• Mr. Hodges experience in the oil and gas industry runs throughout the Rocky Mountains and the Gulf Coast states over the past seventeen years.

• Over the past seventeen years, he played a key role in leasing and acquiring more than 1,000,000 acres of mineral rights in Texas, Utah, Colorado and Montana orchestrating a team of 15 landmen and negotiating with the State and BLM agencies.

• Mr. Hodges oversees operations and was key in securing contracts with companies such as Halliburton Co., Schlumberger, Patterson- UTI Energy, Inc., Key Energy Services, Inc., Nabors Drilling, Frontier Drilling, Weatherford International, Coiled Tubing Services and many others.

• In a recent acquisition, he was able to reduce operating costs by 30% while increasing production by 20%.

• He also has a background in Finance and Geology which stems from training at Brigham Young University Idaho and Boise State University. 

Cory B. Jensen

Mr. Jensen joined the other managers of WEM at Liberty Pioneer Energy Source, Inc. in 2005, as Vice President of Business Development with responsibility for raising investment capital and managing investor relations.

• Mr. Jensen is also a founder of Rockies Standard Oil Company which has extensive mineral holdings in Utah.

• He has over 30 years management, finance, accounting and business experience.

• Mr. Jensen handles Federal and State Oil and Gas monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting along with supervising internal accounting, royalty owners and reporting to shareholders.

• He is also involved in non-profit humanitarian work and served as a board member of The MORE Project.

• Mr. Jensen holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Brigham Young University where he graduated magna cum laude. 

Bradley D. Gunnell
General Counsel

Mr. Gunnell serves as legal and land counsel for Wasatch Energy Management.

• Mr. Gunnell has over twelve years of experience in oil and gas industry specifically in Utah, Texas, and Colorado, primarily in asset and land management as well as legal work.

• As a land manager for Rockies Standard Oil Company, LLC, Mr. Gunnell supervised and managed over 800,000 net acres of oil, gas, and/or mineral leases scattered across three states.

• Mr. Gunnell has participated in the negotiation and drafting of joint ventures, farmouts, operating agreements, and purchase and sales agreements between his clients and prominent members in the industry including Clayton Williams Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: CWEI), Fidelity E&P, Anadarko (NYSE: APC), and Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK).

• Mr. Gunnell received his B.S. from Brigham Young University in 2007 and graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School in 2010. 

Riley Brinkerhoff
Exploration Manager

• Mr. Brinkerhoff has worked within the oil and gas industry for fourteen years, both with major international firms and unconventional focused independents.

• Working as both a technical expert and business development leader, Mr. Brinkerhoff has used geotechnical data to build business cases for acquisitions and divestments across the Rockies. His specialty with helping quantify technical risk within proposed deals and create strategies to mitigate risk in oil and gas development plans.

• Key past work includes asset acquisitions and development in the Uinta, Green River, Powder River, and Williston Basins. Major exploration projects include the Bighorn, Wind, Washakie, Alliance and Green River Basins.

• Mr. Brinkerhoff received his B.S. and M.S. in Geology at Brigham Young University and MBA at the University of Utah. He passed the ASBOG exam in 2011 becoming a certified professional geologist in both Utah and Wyoming (7835530-2250 (UT), PG-3784 (WY)).
